Designer Birthday Cakes & Desserts Table for the Wizarding World

June has been an incredibly exciting month for us, with vibrant summer cakes, stunning wedding designs, and milestone celebrations. But we're especially excited to share a magical project we undertook this month with a Harry Potter -themed birthday, featuring two custom-shaped Designer Birthday Cakes and an enchanting Dessert Table. We brought a Harry Potter-themed birthday party to life filled with treats exactly described in the Harry Potter books. From Golden Snitch cake pops to Sorting Hat cupcakes, every detail was a magical delight and we had an incredible time designing it all!

Designer Birthday Cake

Featuring our delightful Tropical Escape flavour, the first Designer Birthday Cake was an actual a life-size Book of Spells personalised with hand-cut chocolate letters spelling the birthday boy's name. Meticulously hand-painted, we created golden edges and intricate details to capture the charm of an ancient manuscript.

Chocolate Wands

We designed Harry Potter wands entirely out of chocolate and hand-painted to give them that realistic look. The enchanting Chocolate Wands were the perfect addition to the Dessert Table which had the children screaming spells at each other all day! They were also delicious, of course!

Mandrake Chocolate Pots

We designed small desserts with realistic Mandrake Root faces peeking out from chocolate pots. These magical creations took hours of careful crafting, each detail put together with care to bring a touch of magic to every bite. Take a closer look at their lifelike expressions!

Raspberry Cupcakes

Each cupcake was topped with its own adorable Sorting Hat, adding a magical touch to every bite. They were as delightful as they were enchanting, bringing a bit of Hogwarts right to the Dessert Table.

Hogwarts Acceptance Letter Cookies

Cookies designed to look exactly like the most desired Hogwarts Acceptance Letters, topped with an edible wax seal. They were more than cookies though, they were invitations to a world of witchcraft and wizardry.

The Golden Snitch

The Golden Snitch Designer Birthday Cake! As it is "damn near impossible to see, and catch" we decided to make a large one to get everyone's attention. The second birthday cake to feature on the Dessert Table, the Golden Snitch Cake was designed and painted to shine.

And of course filled with the finest Belgian chocolate. For bite-sized treats, we created Golden Snitch cake pops, each a miniature marvel of the real thing.
